********* WE TAKE SAFETY SERIOUSLY! READ IT. PRACTICE IT. LIVE IT - SO YOU CAN LIVE!!! ************

When using ANY machine, we HIGHLY recommend wearing:  * eye protection    * gloves   * hearing protection    * work shoes    * chaps & helmet (chainsaw cutting)

Working DO's:  Secure loose clothing and long hair. Remove all jewelry (rings chains etc) that could get caught in moving machine parts. Take breaks if you become fatigued or get hot. Keep kids and pets away from your work area. Scan your work area for objects that could be thrown by the machine, or could possibly cause you to fall/trip. Work with a helper or have an ADULT nearby (and have them check on you periodically) in case something does injure the machine's operator. BE ALERT!

Working DON'Ts - if you are achey, tired or sick, rest up and set another day aside for your task. If you want to or have had any alcohol, wait for another day to perform your work. If its wet, snowy or icy, pick another day when its dry so your chances of slipping are greatly reduced. Its just not worth it to take a chance.

Know you're limitations - if something is beyond your ability, DON'T DO IT. Ask for advice or hire a professional. There is no shame in asking for assistance.

Gasoline is highly explosive - do not smoke within 50 feet of the equipment and fuel containers! Only refuel your equipment after it has cooled at LEAST 5 to 10 minutes!

If working on the machine, disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug.

WORK SMARTLY. STAY ALERT. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN.
